Sue is a trainer and practitioner who’s 25+ year’s journey from community arts in West Yorkshire to supporting play development in the West Midlands, has encompassed all manner of work with all manner of children (and the adults who work with them), in all manner of places.

From creative workshops with under 5’s to writing MCQ papers; delivering staff CPD to wild camping with young people on expeditions A balance of paid and voluntary work, linked by a passion for play and children’s rights. She supports Safeguarding and Health & Safety processes for community and faith-based organisations and actually enjoys reforming policy and procedures to enable great practice.

Sue is a maker, a doer and a critical thinker. Nothing – material or experiential – is ever wasted and a ‘can do’ attitude goes a long way!
