Kerrie’s adventures in playwork began in 2004 when she stumbled across Phoenix Adventure Playground in Wolverhampton, went to register her daughter and came away signed up as a volunteer herself! A few months later she secured a full time Playworker job and life changed forever.

As well as directly supporting a wide range of play opportunities with children, Kerrie’s practical skills include developing exciting play environments. As a tutor for Design and Build courses she shares her expertise with other Playworkers all over the country, helping them to build play structures from scratch.

Kerrie is currently a senior Playworker at Sycamore Adventure in Dudley doing what she loves best – working with amazing children and families.
