Clair Meares

Clair Meares is a Playwork Practitioner, trainer and mentor who has managed open access settings, play ranger projects and play services for disabled children for the last 25 years. She is particularly at home in the outdoors and is skilled in getting messy – (highlights would include facilitating a ‘clay fight’ for 1,000 plus children on National Playday).

Clair recently completed a, (very long), Masters thesis on the ‘tacit dimension of understanding between playworker and playing child’ and is currently enjoying smaller scale research projects whilst she gets her breath back!
